Judgement is the weapon of the fearful
And this foolish habit is troubling and shameful
To judge one another by what you see
Instead of what they may actually be
Is a sad loss of what could be a connection
And all you'll get in return is rejection
For judgement is a double-edged blade
For it tortures those you scorn the way you have them portrayed
And it hurts you as well, the way they look in your eyes
With hate, fear, distrust, at the pride you so prize
And your pride is a thrown built upon your disdain
But in the end, it will be your bane
I wonder if we did not judge so severely
Could we all get along? Truly? Sincerely?
Sadly the judging will never end
And now here I shall stop, trying to pretend
I judge as well and as harshly as you
But because I'm afraid of what you would do
You judged me first, you left me behind,
You forgot about me, now alone I'm confined
